Te mapa
Warora lies in Chandrapur district in the Vidarbha region of eastern Maharashtra. It is widely known as the home of Anandwan, the community founded by the social reformer Baba Amte to care for and rehabilitate people affected by leprosy. Anandwan grew into a self-sufficient settlement of farms, workshops and schools just outside the town.
The map shows a compact town centre with a dense street pattern, set beside a railway line and the main roads that cross the district. Around it lies flat to gently rolling country of cotton and soybean fields. Further out are the coal mines and power plants that mark the Chandrapur area.
A Warora map poster shows the town at a human scale: its busy centre, the lines of rail and road, and the grounds of Anandwan nearby, where the layout of fields and buildings reflects decades of patient work. The result is a calm, clear print with a story that reaches well beyond the town's size.
Baba Amte's community on the edge of town appears as a spread of fields, workshops and homes. It is a settlement built by and for the people who live there.
The railway passes through Warora, with a station close to the centre. Its long straight line divides the map and has guided the town's growth.
Cotton and soybean fields surround the town, crossed by rural roads and seasonal streams. They give the edges of the print an open, agricultural texture.

Koteā ko Warora
Warora means a great deal to the people who grew up here and to the many volunteers and visitors inspired by Anandwan. A map of the town keeps that connection visible in a quiet, respectful way.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a name, a date or a dedication, and point the coordinates line to a home or to Anandwan itself. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
