Te mapa
Washinomiya sits on the level ground of the Kanto Plain in northeastern Saitama, and from above it reads as a small, dense cluster in wide open country. Its lanes are close together and irregular. A railway line runs straight through the settlement. Around the edges the pattern loosens into long, geometric field plots, the kind of farmland you see across this low part of the prefecture.
The town's centre of gravity is Washinomiya Shrine, often described as one of the oldest Shinto shrines in the Kanto region. On the map its grounds show up as a quiet wooded block with a path leading in from the streets around it. In 2010 Washinomiya merged with neighbouring municipalities into the city of Kuki, but the old town still keeps its own recognisable shape on the plan.
A Washinomiya map poster holds that contrast in a single frame: a knot of short streets around a sacred grove, then flat ground reaching out in every direction. Printed in black and white, the field divisions turn into a soft texture and the town's streets become the clear focal point. It is a modest, legible plan, and it suits the understated look of a minimalist print.

A railway line cuts cleanly across the settlement, a straight stroke against the looser street pattern. The station area forms a second small focus alongside the older shrine quarter.
Beyond the built-up core, the flat Kanto Plain breaks into regular agricultural parcels. Their repeating rectangles frame the town and give the poster a calm, even texture toward its edges.

Koteā ko Washinomiya
Some people hang this map because they grew up here or have family in Kuki. Others visited the shrine, including the many fans who came after the town appeared in the anime Lucky Star. For all of them, the plan is a quiet reminder of a specific, small place rather than a famous skyline.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a date or a short note, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Take the $9 HD files in six print sizes, or order a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
