Te mapa
West Columbia sits on the western bank of the Congaree River, directly across from South Carolina's capital. Rivers set the shape of the map. The Saluda and Broad rivers meet just upstream to form the Congaree, and West Columbia's streets run down toward that water, with several bridges linking it to downtown Columbia on the far bank.
The city grew as a mill and railroad town in Lexington County and later became a residential and commercial neighbourhood of the wider Columbia area. Its riverfront has been opened up with a walking trail along the Congaree, part of a greenway network that connects both sides of the river.
A West Columbia map poster shows that close relationship with the river and the city opposite. The Congaree runs as a strong line down one edge of the frame, the bridges cross it at regular intervals, and a mix of older grid streets and curving suburban roads spreads west from the bank.
The river forms the city's eastern edge and separates it from downtown Columbia. It is the widest and most defining line on the map.
Just upstream, the Saluda and Broad rivers come together to form the Congaree, a clear confluence that gives the northern edge of the map its shape.
Several road bridges cross the river toward Columbia, drawing short, firm lines over the water that tie the two cities together.

Koteā ko West Columbia
West Columbia means something specific to those who live there. It is close to the capital but has its own riverfront and neighbourhoods. The map works well for a new home, a family history or time spent in the Midlands.
Edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line to add a name or a date, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters on matte paper come with an optional wooden frame.
