Te mapa
Xinzhi lies in southern-central Shanxi Province, within the corridor that follows the Fen River between Taiyuan and Linfen. From above, the town forms a compact built area along the valley floor. Main roads and rail lines run lengthwise through the corridor, and the ground rises on both sides into the folded loess and hill country typical of the province.
Little detailed information about Xinzhi is available in English, so this page stays close to what the map shows. Its location reflects the pattern of much of Shanxi, where towns grow in narrow valleys and the land around them is shaped by terraces, ravines and farmland.
A Xinzhi map poster shows a valley settlement shaped by its terrain. The streets gather where the ground is level, long transport lines run parallel through the corridor, and the surrounding hills appear as a quieter area with scattered roads. The composition is linear and grounded, and it is quite different from the sprawling grids of China's large cities.
The town lies in a north-south corridor, and roads and railways follow the valley in long parallel lines across the map.
Housing and commercial streets form a tight cluster on level ground, with a clear edge where the built area meets fields.
Hills and terraced loess land rise beyond the valley, visible as sparser roads and irregular paths on either side of the town.

Koteā ko Xinzhi
The poster is a simple, personal way to mark a hometown or family place in Shanxi, especially for someone now living far away. Its linear composition works well on a narrow wall or above a bench.
Add a Chinese or English title, a subtitle and your own coordinates. Then choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
