Yantongshan is a town in central Jilin province, in northeast China. It lies in the hilly country that rises between the Songliao plain and the Changbai mountains to the east. From above, the settlement is compact. Its streets are gathered on the ground that is level enough to build on, while farmland and forest fill the surrounding slopes.
