Te mapa
Yongqing lies in eastern Gansu, in the Tianshui area, where the landscape is made of loess hills cut by rivers and gullies. From above, the town follows a valley floor, with its streets arranged in a long band beside the river. The slopes around it are terraced for farming and carved by deep erosion channels.
The loess plateau is one of the most distinctive landscapes in China. Its fine yellow soil erodes easily, and generations of farmers have shaped it into terraces that follow the contours. In towns like this one, building is concentrated on the scarce level ground.
A Yongqing map poster shows how closely the town is tied to its valley. The streets fill the flat land by the river and stop sharply where the hills begin, while the surrounding slopes provide a quiet, textured background.
The town stretches along the valley floor, and the river line gives the map its main direction.
Terraced slopes and gullies surround the town and give the print a fine, contour-like texture.
Streets run parallel to the river in a long, narrow shape that is easy to recognise.

Koteā ko Yongqing
For families from eastern Gansu, Yongqing is a hometown that is rarely shown on posters. A map of its valley streets makes a personal gift for anyone who grew up here or has since moved to the cities.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, and there are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files cost $9, and printed posters with an optional wooden frame are also available.
