Te mapa
Zamboanga City occupies the southern tip of the Zamboanga Peninsula in western Mindanao. Its urban area follows the coast in a long strip, with the downtown on the shore facing the Basilan Strait and the island of Basilan beyond. Behind it, the land rises gradually towards forested hills, and villages spread along the coastal road in both directions.
The old centre gathers around the waterfront and Fort Pilar, a seventeenth-century Spanish fortress that now serves as a shrine and a museum. Beside it, the Paseo del Mar promenade runs along the sea. From above, the streets form a modest grid near the port that loosens as it spreads east and west, with the airport runway drawing a long straight line close to the centre.
Zamboanga is known as the home of Chavacano, a Spanish-based creole spoken widely in the city, and Great Santa Cruz Island just offshore is noted for its pink sand beach. A Zamboanga map poster frames the city the way people experience it, as a place defined by its long relationship with the sea.
The fortress stands at the shoreline of the old centre. Around it, the port and the promenade give the map a detailed edge where the streets meet the water.
Open water fills the southern part of the print, with the city's coast tracing a long, gentle line from east to west.
A main road follows the shore for many kilometres. It appears as one continuous line linking a chain of villages beyond the city centre.

Koteā ko Zamboanga
For Zamboangueños at home and abroad, the coastline and the old fort are unmistakable. The map is also a good reminder of time spent in the south of the Philippines, whether for work, family or travel.
Personalise the title, perhaps in Chavacano, along with a subtitle and the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand; Sand and Paper suit the coast well. Start with a free 900 px watermarked preview.
