The map
Majd el Kurūm lies in the Upper Galilee, on the northern side of the Beit HaKerem valley. The town's shape comes from the meeting of flat valley floor and rising hills. The main road runs along the bottom, and neighbourhoods climb the slope above it in terraced, winding streets that thin out as the hillside gets steeper.
The name is usually translated as glory of the vineyards, and farming is still visible at the edges. Olive groves and cultivated plots fill the space between the built area and the valley. The old core is dense and irregular, while the newer streets are looser and follow the contours more than any plan.
A Majd el Kurūm map poster captures that contrast in clean lines: a straight valley route below and an organic, hill-hugging street pattern above. The town ends where the ground grows too rugged to build on, and those empty areas shape the poster as much as the streets do.
The main road along the Beit HaKerem valley draws a firm line under the town. It gives the composition a clear base that everything else rises away from.
Above the road, streets twist up the slope in short, curving segments. The result is a dense, organic texture that reads well in black and white.
Open agricultural land surrounds the built-up area. On the poster it appears as blank space, framing the town and showing how closely it sits against its hills.
