The map
Marbella runs along the Costa del Sol, squeezed between the Mediterranean and the steep flank of the Sierra Blanca. From above, the city is long and narrow. The coastal motorway and the main road follow the shoreline, and a series of developments fills the slope between the mountains and the beach.
At its centre is the Casco Antiguo, the old town, a knot of narrow, irregular lanes around the Plaza de los Naranjos. It stands out sharply from the wider, planned streets that grew around it in the twentieth century. West along the coast, Puerto Banús adds a distinct harbour shape, with piers and basins enclosing the water.
A Marbella map poster brings these layers into one frame: the medieval tangle, the seafront promenade, the marinas and the villa estates climbing into the hills. In black and white, the coastline becomes a single decisive curve. The contours of the built area show how the city has grown towards the mountains.

The marina west of the centre shows clearly on the map. Its geometric basins and breakwaters jut into the sea along an otherwise smooth coastline.
The Sierra Blanca rises right behind the city. Streets thin out and curve along the slopes as they climb, giving the northern edge of the map a looser, organic pattern.

Why Marbella
Marbella is often a place of long summers, a second home or a special trip. A map of its coastline and old quarter recalls those memories in a calmer, more graphic way than a photograph.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a date, a street or a short phrase, and edit the coordinates line. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, all suit the Mediterranean light well.
