The map
Oostkamp lies directly south of Bruges in West Flanders. On a map it looks less like a single town than a loose collection of villages, woods and estates. The main village sits near the Ghent–Bruges canal, whose straight line runs along the northern side, while the smaller villages of Hertsberge, Ruddervoorde and Waardamme lie further south.
The municipality is known for its many castles and landscaped parks, and these show up on the map as large green-bordered plots with winding drives and ponds. Between them, farmland and patches of woodland break up the built-up areas. The E40 motorway cuts across the territory, a broad, straight line through the softer rural pattern.
An Oostkamp map poster shows this varied landscape: the canal, the village centres, the estate parks and the fields between them. The result is a gentle, spacious composition with more open ground than dense streets, well suited to anyone who knows the area from cycling, walking or growing up among its villages.
The canal runs straight and wide along the northern part of the municipality. It gives the map a strong, clean line against the irregular village streets.
Large private parks with drives, ponds and woodland are scattered across the area. They create distinctive enclosed shapes among the farm fields.
Oostkamp and its neighbouring villages each have their own small centre. Together they form a pattern of separate settlements linked by country roads.

Why Oostkamp
Oostkamp is a place people choose for its greenery and its closeness to Bruges, and the map reflects that balance of space and connection. It is a good fit for a family home, especially one that has lived here across generations or recently moved in.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, in Dutch or English. Classic black & white keeps the canal and parks crisp, while Paper lends a softer, archival feel. Download the HD files for $9, or order a matte print shipped from a European print partner.
