About this Pattaya map poster
Pattaya stretches along the eastern shore of the Gulf of Thailand in Chon Buri province. Its plan follows the coast. Beach Road runs along the curved bay, Second Road runs parallel just inland, and a series of numbered sois connects the two in regular steps. Farther east, Sukhumvit Road marks the inland edge of the dense town.
At the southern end of the bay, the Pratumnak hill pushes out into the sea as a small headland and separates Pattaya Beach from the longer, straighter sweep of Jomtien. Walking Street runs along the shore at the foot of the hill. Offshore, the island of Koh Larn appears as a separate outline.
