Te mapa
Ara-dong is a district of Jeju City on Jeju Island, the volcanic island off the southern coast of Korea. It lies south of the old city centre, on the lower slopes that climb gradually toward Hallasan, the dormant volcano at the heart of the island. From above, the district shows a mix of apartment blocks, older low-rise houses and patches of farmland and woodland.
Streams flowing down from Hallasan cut shallow valleys through the area, and roads either follow them or run straight uphill toward the mountain. As the ground rises, the built-up area thins and gives way to fields enclosed by the island's traditional black basalt walls. An Ara-dong map poster shows this transition from dense city streets to open volcanic slopes.
The district is home to the main campus of Jeju National University, whose buildings and grounds form a large, distinctive block on the map. Around it are newer residential developments built as Jeju City expanded southward. The combination of campus, neighbourhoods and rural edges gives the district a layered character that reads clearly in a minimalist poster.
Jeju National University occupies a broad area of the district, its buildings, sports fields and internal roads creating a clear, self-contained shape on the map.
The land rises steadily toward the south, and roads follow the gradient toward Hallasan, with development thinning as the slopes grow steeper and greener.
Watercourses running down from the mountain carve shallow valleys through the district, guiding the roads and leaving green corridors between neighbourhoods.

Koteā ko Ara-dong
Ara-dong is where many students spent their university years and where families have made homes on the island. A map of it records a Jeju that visitors rarely see, the everyday streets between the old city and the mountain.
Choose a title and subtitle, perhaps a graduation year or a family name, and keep the coordinates line. The map comes in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as a $9 HD download or a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
