Betong Map Poster & Print
Betong is a town in Sarawak, on the island of Borneo, and the administrative centre of its division. On the map it appears as a compact settlement near a river, with a small grid of shops and government buildings at the centre and roads curving out through the surrounding low hills.
The region is closely associated with the Iban people, and longhouse communities are found throughout the surrounding countryside. Rivers have long been the main routes through this part of Sarawak, and much of the land around the town is used for smallholdings and plantations.
