Te mapa
Cầu Giấy is an urban district on the western side of Hanoi. Its name means paper bridge and recalls the villages here that once made traditional paper. The map shows a district in transition. The fine grain of old village lanes survives in places, surrounded by broad new roads and large blocks of offices and apartments.
Main avenues such as Xuân Thủy and Cầu Giấy carry traffic west from the centre. Vietnam National University, Hanoi has its main campus here, along with several other institutions. The Tô Lịch River runs along the eastern boundary, and Cầu Giấy Park and Nghĩa Đô Park open green spaces in the dense street pattern.
The district is also home to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which has an open-air section of traditional houses. A Cầu Giấy map poster reflects a part of Hanoi defined by learning and change. Over a few decades, campuses, parks and new neighbourhoods have replaced its fields and paper villages.
The campuses of Vietnam National University and other institutions form larger, open blocks along the main avenues. They are easy to pick out among the smaller streets around them.
The narrow river channel runs along the eastern side of the district and marks its boundary with a thin line of water.
Cầu Giấy Park and Nghĩa Đô Park appear as open shapes with small lakes and paths, rare breathing spaces in a dense western district.

Koteā ko Cầu Giấy
For the many students who spent their university years in Cầu Giấy, the map is a record of lecture halls, cheap cafés and evening walks in the park. It also suits families who have watched the district change from village lanes to towers.
Add a graduation year, an alley number or a personal note to the subtitle, set the coordinates, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital version costs $9, and you can order a printed poster from a nearby print partner.
