Te mapa
Hai Bà Trưng is one of the central inner-city areas of Hanoi, lying just south of Hoàn Kiếm Lake and the Old Quarter. On the map it is a compact block of fine-grained streets. Main roads run broadly north to south, and a network of narrow lanes, known locally as ngõ, fills nearly every space between them. The eastern edge follows the dikes along the Red River.
The largest open space is Thống Nhất Park, whose lake and winding paths form a soft, irregular shape among the tight blocks. Smaller ponds are scattered through the residential wards, and the campus of Hanoi University of Science and Technology adds a rare patch of wide, orderly buildings. Toward the river, the Vĩnh Tuy Bridge carries traffic across to the eastern bank.
The name honours the Trưng Sisters, who led an uprising against Chinese rule in the first century and remain among Vietnam's most revered figures. A temple dedicated to them stands within the area. A Hai Bà Trưng map poster turns this dense, lived-in part of Hanoi into a fine lacework of streets, lanes and water that rewards a close look.

Between the main streets, countless narrow alleys branch and bend into residential blocks. At poster scale they create a dense, almost textile pattern that is typical of central Hanoi.
The eastern side of the area follows the embankments of the Red River, where the tight street grid meets a broad band of water and the long line of the Vĩnh Tuy Bridge.

For anyone who has lived in Hanoi's central wards, studied at Bách Khoa or walked around the lake in Thống Nhất Park, this map holds a great deal of personal geography. Its density makes it especially rewarding in larger sizes, where individual lanes remain legible.
You can title it with a street name, a year or a Vietnamese phrase, and adjust the subtitle and coordinates. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, change the mood from crisp to warm. Order HD files for $9 or a printed matte poster.
