Te mapa
Chai Nat sits on the Chao Phraya River at the northern edge of Thailand's central plain. The town is laid out along the riverbank, with streets running parallel to the water and short lanes leading down to it. Beyond the built-up area the map fills with the fine geometry of rice fields, drainage ditches and small roads raised above the flood level.
The most important feature nearby is the Chao Phraya Dam, completed in the 1950s. This barrage feeds a network of irrigation canals that water much of the plain to the south. On a map the canals are easy to spot: long, even lines leaving the river and spreading across the flat land.
A Chai Nat map poster draws the broad river, the dense town beside it and the engineered waterways around it. Few small towns in Thailand show so clearly on paper how people have shaped a landscape with water.
Thailand's main river passes right beside the town. It is the widest element on the poster, and the streets and lanes are arranged along its bank.
The barrage upstream of town controls the river and supplies the central plain's irrigation system. From above it is a straight line drawn across the water.
Straight irrigation canals leave the river and cross the rice country. Their regular lines add a quiet, almost architectural rhythm to the edges of the map.

Koteā ko Chai Nat
Chai Nat suits people who love rivers, farmland and the logic of waterways. It is also a meaningful place for anyone who grew up in the province or has family there. Add a personal title, write a date or a short line in the subtitle, and keep the coordinates as a quiet reference.
Blueprint suits the canals and barrage especially well. Classic black & white, Noir, Paper and Sand each give the river a different weight. You can download the $9 HD files in six sizes as PNG and PDF, or order a matte print from a partner close to you.
