Ciyun Map Poster & Print
Ciyun is a town in Chongqing municipality, in the folded, hilly terrain of south-western China. The land rises and falls constantly, and on the map roads follow the contours rather than running straight, curving around hillsides and dropping into small valleys.
The built-up area gathers where the terrain allows, with a denser core of streets and taller blocks and newer development along the main roads. A Ciyun map poster shows how the town has adapted to its setting, its edges shaped by slopes and streams.
Outside the town, the map fills with the fine, irregular pattern of rural lanes and fields typical of the Chongqing hills. In black and white, the curving lines give the design a gentle movement quite different from flat-land grid towns.
