Daet Map Poster & Print

Daet is the capital of Camarines Norte in the Bicol Region of the Philippines. It lies on low, flat ground near the Pacific coast. On a map, the town centre forms a compact grid around the provincial buildings and plaza, and rivers wind through the surrounding land toward the sea.

Daet is home to the first monument to José Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines. It was completed in 1898, only two years after his execution. The town is also known for Bagasbas Beach on the nearby coast, a popular spot for surfing and kiteboarding.

A Daet map poster shows the centre, the rivers and the coastline together in one frame. The regular streets of the town are set against the curving waterways and the long, open line of the shore. It is a clear, legible composition that fits both the town's civic history and its life by the sea.

Town centre grid

The centre follows a compact grid around the plaza and provincial government buildings, a layout common to many Philippine provincial capitals.

02

Winding rivers

Rivers meander through the flat land around the town toward the coast. Their curving lines soften the regular pattern of the streets.

03

Bagasbas coast

North of the centre, the open shoreline of Bagasbas faces the Pacific. On the map it is a long, clean edge along the ocean.
