Te mapa
Flakièdougou lies in the Zanzan District of north-eastern Ivory Coast, a region of open savanna, woodland and farmland toward the borders with Ghana and Burkina Faso. It is a small place, and its map is shaped by the land around it more than by dense construction.
From above, the town appears as a cluster of compounds and buildings where local roads meet. Tracks spread outward to fields and neighbouring villages, and the pattern of settlement becomes more scattered as it moves away from the centre. Seasonal streams and patches of trees add soft, irregular shapes to the surrounding space.
A Flakièdougou map poster presents a quiet composition: a small centre of streets and a wide, open landscape of paths. The lines are few, but each one leads somewhere, and together they describe how a rural community connects to the region around it.
Buildings and compounds gather where the main roads meet, forming the densest part of the map and the core of daily life in the town.
Earth roads branch outward to fields and villages, creating a loose web that spreads across the savanna in every direction.
Farmland and woodland surround the settlement, leaving wide, calm spaces on the poster that frame the town at its centre.
