Te mapa
Ora-dong is a neighbourhood of Jeju City, on the northern side of Jeju Island in South Korea. It lies just south of the older city centre, on land that rises steadily toward Hallasan, the volcanic mountain at the island's centre, so the map shows streets gradually giving way to fields and wooded slopes.
The lower part of the district is densely built, with apartment complexes and residential streets connected to the rest of Jeju City. Further uphill, the pattern opens up, with stone-walled fields, scattered houses and roads that follow the gentle incline of the volcanic land.
Several streams run down from the mountain toward the sea, cutting shallow valleys through the district. An Ora-dong map poster captures that transition from city to mountainside, with the grain of urban blocks slowly thinning into the open landscape of Jeju's interior.
The land rises from the city centre toward Hallasan, so the southern part of the map becomes more open, with roads climbing through fields and woodland.
The northern part of the district is filled with apartment complexes and residential streets, a denser pattern connected to the rest of Jeju City.
Streams flowing from the mountain toward the sea cut through the district in shallow valleys, creating natural lines that run downhill across the map.

Koteā ko Ora-dong
Ora-dong suits people who live in Jeju City, have moved to the island or have fond memories of its slopes and streams. The gradient from dense streets to open land gives the print a sense of movement.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be changed, including Korean text. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a $9 HD download in six sizes or a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
