Te mapa
Pampán sits in the Andean part of Trujillo state in western Venezuela. On the map, its streets fill the available flat ground, with the surrounding slopes limiting how far the town can spread. The layout is compact, with a central core and roads that climb or follow the valley out toward neighbouring communities.
Like many towns in the Venezuelan Andes, Pampán has a Spanish colonial pattern at its heart, with a central square and church from which the main streets extend. Beyond that core, newer neighbourhoods have grown along the roads and up the hillsides wherever the terrain allows.
A Pampán map poster captures the way mountain geography shapes daily life. Streets bend to follow contours, dead ends meet slopes, and the countryside around the town is crossed by winding routes rather than straight lines. In black and white, the town becomes a small, dense shape held within the folds of the land.
The town's core follows the traditional plan of a central square with streets extending from it, the most regular part of an otherwise terrain-led layout.
Steep ground surrounds the town, and the map shows streets gathering on the flatter land while the slopes around them remain largely open.
Roads leaving Pampán curve and switch back as they follow the terrain, linking the town to other communities in the Trujillo Andes.

Koteā ko Pampán
For Venezuelans from Pampán, especially those now living abroad, this map offers a clear and quiet connection to home. The compact valley shape makes a striking composition, even for people who know it only as a place their family came from.
