Te mapa
Pearland lies just south of Houston, mostly in Brazoria County, on the flat coastal prairie near the Gulf of Mexico. Its name comes from the pear orchards planted there in the early twentieth century. The town grew slowly for decades before rapid suburban growth turned it into one of the larger cities in the Houston area.
On the map, the older section around the original town site keeps a small straight grid near the railroad. Most of the city, however, is made of planned subdivisions with curving streets, cul-de-sacs and retention ponds, each forming its own self-contained pattern inside the section-line roads that divide the prairie into large squares.
Clear Creek runs along the northern side of the city, with parks and trails following its course. State Highway 288 cuts through the west side toward downtown Houston, and Beltway 8 lies just to the north. A Pearland map poster shows how suburban growth fills the frame with small loops and curves.
Master-planned neighbourhoods fill the map with curving streets, cul-de-sacs and ponds, each one a distinct pattern within the larger road grid.
The creek winds along the city's northern side, with green corridors and trails following it through the housing areas.
The state highway runs north toward Houston along the west side, a straight, heavy line crossing the finer pattern of neighbourhood streets.

Koteā ko Pearland
Pearland is where many people bought their first house, raised children or settled after moving to Texas. A map of the neighbourhood you chose gives that story a clear shape, and the curving streets look good in any room.
Add your street name, the year you moved in or your family name to the title and subtitle, and set the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as $9 HD files or a framed print.
