Te mapa
Sebauh lies upriver from Bintulu in Sarawak, on the Malaysian side of Borneo. The town grew where the Kemena River offered a landing, and the map still shows that origin plainly: a compact cluster of streets pressed against the bank, with the river's broad loops dominating everything around it.
Beyond the edge of town the landscape switches between two textures. Oil palm estates lay down orderly networks of access roads, while patches of forest and wetland stay irregular and largely unmarked. A Sebauh map poster captures that contrast well, setting the precise geometry of agriculture against the looser lines of a tropical river basin.
The district is thinly settled, and for a long time much of its movement ran along the water and the road toward Bintulu. That gives the map a spare, open quality: few streets, generous white space and one dark ribbon of river, which makes the composition feel deliberate rather than empty.
The river bends again and again as it passes the town. Its wide meanders give the poster its main curving line and anchor the small street network on the bank.
Sebauh's streets form a tight cluster close to the water, the usual Sarawak river-town layout in which shops, landing and houses sit within a few blocks of one another.
Around the town, plantation roads cut long, regular lines across the land. The result is a ruled, almost graphic pattern that contrasts with the natural curves of the river.

Koteā ko Sebauh
Sebauh is the kind of place people carry with them after moving to Bintulu, Kuching or further away. A map of the river town, with a family name or the year someone left in the title, keeps that link on the wall.
Classic black & white keeps the river crisp, Noir suits a darker room, and Paper, Blueprint or Sand give a softer tone. For $9 you get HD files in six print sizes at 300 DPI, plus print-ready PDFs. Printed and framed versions ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
