Main Quad
The university's central lawn, lined with academic buildings, appears as a long open rectangle framed by paths. It is the heart of campus and a natural focal point on the poster.

Urbana Map Poster & Print
Urbana is the seat of Champaign County in east-central Illinois. Together with neighbouring Champaign, it is home to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The two cities have grown into one continuous urban area on the flat prairie, with the campus straddling the line between them. Before the university arrived, Urbana was a county seat where Abraham Lincoln argued cases as a circuit-riding lawyer.
On a map, Urbana is a study in prairie geometry. The streets follow a largely regular grid aligned to the compass, broken by the long, open rectangles of campus and research fields. The Main Quad and the lawns around it form a striking gap in the street pattern, and Boneyard Creek adds a rare curving line across the otherwise orderly layout.
Just south of the Main Quad are the Morrow Plots, begun in 1876 and among the oldest continuously running agricultural experiment fields in the world. An Urbana map poster is a natural gift for graduates, faculty and families who have spent years in town, marking a place defined by learning, farmland and wide horizons.

Prairie street grid
Urbana's streets follow a regular north-south, east-west grid typical of the Midwest. This gives the page a calm, even rhythm that suits minimalist styles especially well.
Meadowbrook Park
This large park on the city's south side, with restored prairie and winding paths, is an open green space that contrasts with the neat blocks around it.

For many people, Urbana is where they studied, met a partner or started a career. A map of it on the wall recalls late nights in the library, walks across the Quad and winters on the prairie, all in one quiet image.
Add a graduation year, a degree or a personal line in the subtitle, and choose from five styles, including Blueprint for an engineering look. Download all six print sizes for $9, or order a printed poster on matte paper, framed if you like.
