Te mapa
Viña del Mar occupies a rare piece of flat land on the central Chilean coast: the plain around the mouth of the Marga Marga estuary. The centre is laid out as a regular grid on both sides of the channel. Steep hills rise on every inland side, and their streets switch back in tight curves. To the south, the city merges with Valparaíso along the bay.
Chileans call it the Garden City, and Viña keeps a large share of its map for parks. The largest is Quinta Vergara, a wooded estate whose amphitheatre hosts the Viña del Mar International Song Festival every February. It is one of the longest-running music festivals in Latin America. Near the coast, a flower clock set into a hillside has become one of the most photographed spots in the country.
North of the estuary, the shoreline becomes a string of beaches, and a seafront road runs past hotels and apartment towers toward Reñaca. The flat grid, the stepped hills and the open Pacific contrast strongly. That contrast helps a Viña del Mar map poster read clearly even at the smallest size.
The broad, often shallow channel crosses the centre from the hills to the sea. Several bridges span it, and it divides the older grid into northern and southern halves.
A large wooded park south of the centre holds a palace, gardens and the open-air amphitheatre used for the annual international song festival.
North of the river mouth, a seafront road follows the curve of the beaches past towers and small coves. It draws the city's long western edge.

Koteā ko Viña del Mar
Many Chileans spent their summers in Viña, and visitors to Valparaíso often stay there. A map of its beaches, parks and hills works as a keepsake of a season by the sea or as a lasting link to the coast.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for instance with the name of a beach or a wedding date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as HD files for $9 or as a matte print shipped from a print partner close to you.
