Te mapa
Wang Tau Hom is a residential area in Kowloon, Hong Kong, close to Lok Fu. It is known mainly for its public housing estate. From above, it looks like a cluster of large residential blocks with courtyards, walkways and small open spaces in between. The streets curve to fit the sloping ground.
The area is typical of Hong Kong's public housing landscape. It was built to house large numbers of people in a limited space, supported by schools, shops and transport links. To the north, the ground rises toward the hills of Kowloon, and the dense street network of the city stretches away to the south.
A Wang Tau Hom map poster is a portrait of a very urban place. Its building footprints are larger and bolder than in older street grids, and access roads curve around them. The result is a strong, modern composition that feels at home in contemporary interiors.
Large residential blocks are arranged around shared spaces. Their bold footprints create a strong pattern that sets the area apart from surrounding streets.
Local roads bend to follow the slope and wrap around the estates. They add soft, flowing lines to an otherwise blocky drawing.
North of the estate, the city meets the hills of Kowloon. Streets end where green slopes begin, which gives the map a clear upper edge.
