Two historic centres
The map still shows the separate cores of Karkur and Pardes Hanna. Each has its own cluster of streets, joined by roads through the areas that grew up between them.

The map
Pardés H̱anna Karkur lies inland from the Mediterranean coast in northern Israel, south of the Carmel ridge and east of Hadera. It began as two separate farming settlements, Karkur and Pardes Hanna, which were joined under one local council in 1969. From above you can still see two centres, with a looser spread of housing, farm plots and roads filling the ground between them.
The name points to its agricultural beginnings, since pardes is the Hebrew word for an orchard, particularly a citrus grove. Many streets follow old farm tracks, so the map has long, slightly irregular lines. It does not have the planned grid of newer Israeli towns. Plots of cultivated land still break up the built-up area in places.
A Pardés H̱anna Karkur map poster shows a place that feels more like a group of neighbourhoods than a single town. Clusters of streets sit around each historic centre, with open space between them and main roads leading out towards the coast and the hills. It is a gentle, spacious composition that suits the town's reputation as a quieter, greener place to live.
The map still shows the separate cores of Karkur and Pardes Hanna. Each has its own cluster of streets, joined by roads through the areas that grew up between them.
Long roads that curve slightly follow the lines of old agricultural paths. They give the town a looser, more rural street pattern than a planned grid would.
Patches of undeveloped and farmed land stay inside and around the town, leaving calm blank areas between the drawn streets.

Why Pardés H̱anna Karkur
People from Pardes Hanna and Karkur often care about which side of town they grew up on. A map holds both halves in one frame, which makes it a good gift for a family that has moved away or a couple who settled there.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, in English or with the names you use at home. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files for six print sizes cost $9, and a free 900 px watermarked preview lets you check the framing first.
