Northern waterfront
The town meets the sea along a gently curving bay. This gives the poster a clean coastline that separates the street pattern from the open water.

The map
Port-de-Paix is the capital of Haiti's Nord-Ouest department and one of the older settlements on the island's northern shore. From above, it is a tight cluster of streets set against a bay, with the Atlantic stretching north and the hills of the interior rising quickly behind the town.
Across the water lies Île de la Tortue, known in English as Tortuga, the island famous in the seventeenth century as a base for buccaneers. In a wider framing, its southern coast mirrors the mainland shoreline, and the channel between them becomes a broad strip of open space across the top of the composition.
Street detail here is modest, and the map shows it honestly: a waterfront, a small core of streets behind it, roads following the coast and hills pressing close. A Port-de-Paix map poster is a quiet, graphic record of a coastal town that seldom appears in print.
The town meets the sea along a gently curving bay. This gives the poster a clean coastline that separates the street pattern from the open water.
If you zoom out a little, the channel toward Tortuga becomes part of the design, with the island's coast forming a second shoreline on the horizon.
Roads leave the town along the shore in both directions. They trace the narrow band of flatter land between the sea and the rising ground inland.

Why Port-de-Paix
For Haitians abroad with family in the Nord-Ouest, this map is a direct link to a specific place rather than a generic image of the country. Use the title and subtitle for a family name, a birth year or a line in Kreyòl, and keep or edit the coordinates.
Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. You can check the design with a free 900 px watermarked preview, then buy HD files for $9 or order a matte print, with or without a wooden frame.
