Te mapa
Asan in South Chungcheong Province covers a wide area of plains, low hills and streams running down to Asan Bay on the Yellow Sea. From above, the older Onyang district forms a dense core, while newer residential and industrial zones spread across the flatter land to the north and west.
Onyang has been known for its hot springs for centuries, with Joseon kings among its visitors. Asan is also associated with Admiral Yi Sun-sin, whose family home and memorial shrine, Hyeonchungsa, lie within the city.
Today Asan is closely linked with neighbouring Cheonan, sharing a KTX station, and it has large industrial sites including a major car plant. An Asan map poster captures that range: the old spa town, new apartment districts, and the waterways leading to the sea.
The old hot-spring district forms a compact, dense street pattern around the station. It is the historic heart of the city and the clearest cluster on the map.
Several streams cross the plain towards Asan Bay. On the map they add soft lines through fields and new districts before meeting the wide water to the northwest.
Large planned apartment areas and industrial zones spread over flatter ground. Their broad blocks contrast with the tighter grain of the older town.

Koteā ko Asan
Asan is home to many families and workers, and a place many Koreans know from spa trips or visits to Hyeonchungsa. A poster of it links the old hot springs with the newer city that grew around them.
Personalise the title in English or Korean romanisation, add a date or message, and keep or edit the coordinates. Blueprint suits the planned districts, while Paper suits the older Onyang streets.
