Te mapa
Boseong is a county seat in South Jeolla Province, in the southwest of the Korean peninsula. The town occupies a valley between low mountains, its streets packed into the flat ground and following the course of a small river. Beyond the centre the land rises quickly, and further south the county reaches the sea along a sheltered bay with farming and fishing villages.
Boseong is known throughout Korea for green tea. The county produces a large share of the country's tea, and its plantations, with rows of bushes wrapping the hillsides in tight curving lines, are among the most photographed landscapes in the south. A green tea festival is held here each year, and the tea fields draw visitors in every season.
A Boseong map poster places the compact town within that hilly setting. Roads bend around the mountains, streams feed into the valley, and the coastline appears to the south if you frame it wide. The layout is gentle and uneven, which gives the print a softer, more rural character than most Korean city maps.
The centre sits on level ground in a valley, with streets tightly packed around the river and the main road, forming a dense cluster surrounded by empty hillside.
The hills around the town hold the plantations that made Boseong famous, and the roads that climb toward them trace looping lines through the uplands.
A wider frame takes in the county's shoreline on a sheltered bay, adding a long coastal edge and scattered villages to the composition.

Koteā ko Boseong
Those who have walked the tea terraces or grew up in South Jeolla often want a reminder that is calmer than a photograph. The map reduces the valley and hills to clean lines, a restful image that suits a kitchen, a study or a quiet corner for tea.
