Te mapa
Cheongsong is a rural county in North Gyeongsang province, in the mountainous interior of eastern South Korea. It is one of the least densely populated counties in the country, and from above it is mostly ridges and forest. Roads and settlements follow the valley floors, rivers bend between the hills, and the county seat is a small town along the water.
Much of the county's reputation comes from its landscape. Juwangsan National Park, with its rock pinnacles, gorges and waterfalls, lies within the county, and Jusanji pond, with willow trees growing from the water, is one of its best-known sights. The county has been designated a UNESCO Global Geopark. A Cheongsong gun map poster shows this terrain as a web of valley roads and rivers.
Cheongsong is also known for its apples, grown in orchards across the valleys, and for traditional villages that have kept older patterns of houses and lanes. On a map the settlements are small and scattered, linked by roads that bend with the contours. The result is a delicate, linear composition, very different from the dense grid of a Korean city.
The rocky peaks and gorges of Juwangsan occupy part of the county. On a map they appear as an area almost empty of roads, crossed only by trails and streams.
Roads in Cheongsong follow the valley floors and rivers, bending with the terrain and linking small settlements in a thin, branching network.
The county is a UNESCO Global Geopark, recognised for its geology. That shows on the map as steep ground, deep valleys and rivers carved through rock.

Koteā ko Cheongsong gun
For people from Cheongsong, and for visitors who have hiked in Juwangsan or stayed in its villages, this map shows a quieter Korea of rivers and mountain roads. It makes a calm, open image for a wall.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a Korean place name or the date of a trip. The map comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir brings out the valleys.
