Te mapa
Gumi lies in the valley of the Nakdong River in North Gyeongsang Province. From above, the wide river runs through the city from north to south. Bridges tie the older districts on one side to the large industrial estates and new residential areas on the other. Mountains close in on the valley, and Geumosan rises to the southwest.
Gumi grew rapidly from the 1970s as one of South Korea's first large national industrial complexes. It became a centre of electronics manufacturing, with factories producing phones, displays and other components. The city is also known as the birthplace of former president Park Chung-hee. Geumosan Provincial Park, with its waterfall and cliffside temple, is a popular destination.
A Gumi map poster shows how industry and landscape fit together. The river divides the composition, and the industrial estates appear as large regular blocks along its banks. Dense apartment districts sit between them and the hills. The result is a clear, structured picture of a modern Korean city.
The broad river flows through the city from north to south. Its wide channel and floodplain form the main axis of the map.
Large, orderly blocks of factories line the riverbanks. Their wide roads and big rectangular plots stand out against the surrounding districts.
The mountain rises southwest of the centre. Its slopes appear as open space on the map and frame the edge of the city.

Koteā ko Gumi
Many people moved to Gumi to work, study or raise a family, and the map is a reminder of those years. It suits people who live there now and those who have moved elsewhere in Korea or abroad.
Add a title and subtitle, perhaps a name or the year you arrived, and adjust the coordinates line. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, come as HD digital files or as printed posters.
