Te mapa
Cuscatancingo is one of the municipalities that make up the metropolitan area of San Salvador, lying just north of the capital's centre. It is small in area but densely populated. On a map the streets form a close-knit fabric that merges almost seamlessly with neighbouring districts, without any clear rural gap between them.
Ravines and slopes break up the terrain around the capital, and in Cuscatancingo the street pattern responds to them. Short blocks, winding connectors and dense housing stop where the land drops away. A Cuscatancingo map poster captures that tight, irregular texture, where the lines of ravines show through the urban mesh.
The name comes from the Nahuat language, like many place names in central El Salvador. The municipality is mainly residential, and many residents commute into San Salvador each day for work and study. Its identity rests on its neighbourhoods, markets and community life rather than on well-known monuments.
Tightly packed blocks and small streets cover most of the municipality, making the poster rich in fine detail from edge to edge.
Breaks in the street network follow the gullies and steep ground typical of the San Salvador area, leaving narrow green seams through the city.
Main roads run south towards central San Salvador, tying Cuscatancingo into the wider metropolitan grid that continues beyond the frame.

Koteā ko Cuscatancingo
Cuscatancingo is home for many Salvadoran families, including those who have since settled in the United States or elsewhere. A map of the neighbourhood makes a personal gift that recalls specific streets, schools and walks rather than a postcard view.
Write a title and subtitle, perhaps the family surname or the year you left, and keep the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, preview it for free, then download or order a print.
