Open street pattern
Streets are widely spaced, with plenty of open ground between blocks. This gives the print a light, airy look that is different from a dense city grid.

Te mapa
Damongo is the capital of the Savannah Region, created in 2019 when Ghana's old Northern Region was divided. From above, the town has an open, spacious layout. Streets and compounds spread loosely across flat terrain, broken up by open plots and trees, and the surrounding land is savannah woodland.
The town is the usual gateway to Mole National Park, Ghana's largest wildlife reserve, which lies a short drive to the west. On the map, that relationship shows up as a road leaving the built-up area and heading into the empty woodland. Around the centre, a looser street network is gradually filling in as the young regional capital grows.
A Damongo map poster captures a town in the middle of change: new administrative weight, a growing street network, and the open savannah still close on every side. It suits people from the Gonja area, civil servants and teachers posted here, and visitors who stayed in Damongo on the way to see Mole's elephants.
Streets are widely spaced, with plenty of open ground between blocks. This gives the print a light, airy look that is different from a dense city grid.
The route west toward Mole National Park leaves town and runs through open woodland. It becomes the poster's natural line of direction.
Beyond the built area, the map empties into lightly marked terrain. That quiet frame lets the town's shape stand out cleanly.

Koteā ko Damongo
Damongo means different things to different people: a hometown, a posting, the start of a safari. A clean map of it marks that connection without needing words.
Edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Six sizes of 300 DPI PNG and PDF files cost $9, or you can order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
