Te mapa
Fianga is in the Mayo-Kebbi Est province of southwestern Chad, close to the border with Cameroon. The land here is low and open, part of a seasonal floodplain, and the nearby Lake Fianga forms the most distinctive shape on the map. The town appears as a loose network of streets and compounds that thins gradually into farmland and scattered settlements.
The street pattern is informal, with a few main roads carrying most traffic and many smaller tracks branching between family compounds. Water and wetland shapes change with the seasons, and the map shows the lake as a broad, irregular outline next to the town. Beyond it, the plain is crossed by fine tracks connecting nearby villages.
The area is home mainly to the Tupuri people. Because published detail on Fianga is limited, we describe only what the map shows. A Fianga map poster presents a lakeside town on an open Sahelian plain, drawn as clean lines against wide space.
The shallow lake beside the town is the dominant natural feature, its irregular outline giving the composition a strong focal shape.
Main roads anchor the town while smaller tracks wind between compounds, forming a loose, organic pattern rather than a planned grid.
Low, flat land surrounds the town, crossed by fine rural tracks that keep the poster airy and uncluttered at the edges.
