Te mapa
Khan Na Yao is a district on the eastern side of Bangkok, where the dense inner city gives way to suburbs. On a map it has a distinctive structure: long main roads, especially Ramintra, cut through a patchwork of housing estates, each with its own closed network of lanes, while canals, or khlong, run between them in straight lines.
The district is largely residential, with a few large landmarks. The Fashion Island shopping complex sits along Ramintra Road, and Siam Amazing Park, a large water and amusement park, takes up a big block nearby. The Pink Line monorail now runs along Ramintra, linking the area with the rest of the city.
A Khan Na Yao map poster shows a Bangkok that visitors rarely see: soi branching off main roads like the teeth of a comb, gated estates with looping cul-de-sacs, and canals that recall the city's older network of waterways. Expressways cross the district in broad, sweeping curves.
The main road crosses the district with the Pink Line monorail above it, a strong central axis lined with shopping centres and side streets.
Large gated estates fill the land between main roads, each with its own looping lanes and cul-de-sacs, creating a dense, cellular texture.
Straight canals run between the estates and fields, a reminder of Bangkok's older waterways, and add clean lines across the map.

Koteā ko Khan Na Yao
Khan Na Yao is where many Bangkok families actually live, far from the tourist centre. A poster of it marks a real home, whether it hangs in a new condo on Ramintra or in an apartment abroad.
Name the poster after your moo baan or soi, add a date as the subtitle, and set the coordinates. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as $9 HD files or a printed poster.
