Te mapa
Kintampo lies in the Bono East Region and is often described as close to the geographical centre of Ghana. It sits on the main highway between Kumasi and Tamale, in the transition zone where southern forest gives way to northern savannah. That position has long made it a market and transit town.
Nearby are the Kintampo waterfalls, a series of cascades on a forested stream that draws visitors from across the country. The name is also known to archaeologists through the Kintampo complex, an early farming culture first identified in the area. The town itself is a loose grid of streets around its market and the highway.
A Kintampo map poster captures a town shaped by movement. The highway cuts through in a strong line, local roads branch off towards villages, and the streets around the centre form a modest, irregular mesh. The open land around it gives the map a spacious, uncrowded feel.
The Kumasi–Tamale road runs through Kintampo, forming the main axis of the town and the busiest line on the map.
The streets are densest near the market and the main junctions, where the town grew as a stopping point for traders and travellers.
Outside town, streams run through wooded ground towards the Kintampo waterfalls, softening the map's edges with natural lines.

Koteā ko Kintampo
For anyone who has passed through Kintampo on the road north or grew up in the town, the map marks a place at the heart of the country. It is also a thoughtful gift for family living abroad.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a family name or a meaningful date. There are five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand pairs well with the savannah setting.
