Te mapa
Malilipot is a town in Albay, in the Bicol Region of the Philippines. It lies between the lower slopes of Mayon Volcano and the shore of Albay Gulf. The ground rises gently from the coast towards the mountain. Streams and gullies run down to the sea, and roads cross them on their way along the coast.
The town is known for Busay Falls, a series of cascades on the mountain side of the municipality that visitors reach by climbing up from below. Like much of Albay, the area is also known for abaca, the plant fibre used in local crafts. The volcano itself is never far from view, and its slopes shape everything on the map.
A Malilipot map poster shows a town set between mountain and sea: a coastline on one side, radiating streams and slopes on the other, and a band of streets and settlements in between. It is a balanced, natural composition that suits people from Bicol and visitors who have walked up to the falls.
The land rises towards the volcano, and streams radiate down its flanks. They give the inland part of the map a distinctive fanned pattern.
The coastline forms a smooth edge to the town, and the coastal road runs close to it, linking Malilipot with its neighbours.
The tiered waterfall sits on the mountain side of the municipality. It is the town's best-known natural landmark and a popular walk.

For people from Malilipot living elsewhere in the Philippines or abroad, this map keeps the town, the mountain and the gulf together in one image. It is a thoughtful gift for a homecoming or a family celebration.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be personalised. The print is available in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir works well with the volcanic setting, and Sand reflects the coast.
