Te mapa
Marondera, known until 1982 as Marandellas, lies about 70 kilometres south-east of Harare on the road and railway to Mutare. It sits on the high plateau of Mashonaland East, where the air stays cool for much of the year. The map shows a town strung along these transport lines, with a central grid near the station and suburbs spreading outward.
Farming shaped the district. Tobacco, maize, cattle and dairy were long important, and the town grew as a service centre for the farms around it. Beyond the built-up area the map opens into large fields, farm tracks, small dams and patches of woodland, the textures of the highveld countryside.
The town's layout follows colonial-era planning, with wide streets and a regular centre, while newer, denser neighbourhoods fill the outskirts. The district is also known for its boarding schools. A Marondera map poster shows the clear structure of a highland town and the wide landscape that surrounds it.
The railway and the main road to Mutare cross the town on similar alignments, forming the main axis around which the older centre and the suburbs are arranged.
Near the station, straight streets and regular blocks form the old centre, a compact grid that stands out clearly against the more open suburbs.
Beyond the town, large fields, farm tracks and small dams cover the plateau, a broad, open setting that gives the poster generous space.

Koteā ko Marondera
Marondera is home, or a former home, to many Zimbabweans living both in the country and abroad, and to former pupils of the schools in the district. A map of the town is a clear, quiet way to hold on to that connection.
Choose a title such as the town's name, add years or a school in the subtitle, and edit the coordinates. Five styles are offered, as digital HD files or as printed posters shipped from partners in more than 30 countries.
