Te mapa
Niablé is a town in eastern Ivory Coast, close to the border with Ghana, in the Comoé District. From above, it is a modest settlement laid out along its main road, with side streets branching off into residential blocks. The road through the town serves as a crossing point between the two countries, which gives Niablé its role as a place of trade and movement.
The surrounding region is green and agricultural, known for its cocoa and other plantation crops. On a map, the countryside is crossed by tracks and small roads leading to villages and farms, with patches of forest between them. Streams wind through the lower ground, adding irregular natural lines to the landscape.
A Niablé map poster shows a town defined by its road. The main axis runs straight through the composition, with the town's streets clustered along it and the rural network spreading beyond. It is a simple, strong image of a place where people and goods pass between two countries every day.
The road through Niablé forms the spine of the town, with most streets branching off it, and continues towards the Ghana border.
Side streets create a loose grid of residential blocks on either side of the main road, giving the town its compact shape.
Tracks and small roads lead into farmland and forest, forming a fine network across the green countryside around the town.
