Te mapa
This Sampaloc lies in the Calabarzon region, in the hilly country east of Metro Manila, where the land climbs from the lowlands around Laguna de Bay toward the Sierra Madre. It should not be confused with the district of the same name in the city of Manila. From above, the area shows winding roads, small clusters of houses and large stretches of green, unbuilt land.
Settlement here follows the landscape. Roads trace ridges and valleys, and communities gather where the ground levels out or where routes meet. Forest, farms and grassland fill the spaces in between. The name comes from the Tagalog word for tamarind and is used by many places across the Philippines, so the exact coordinates on the poster are especially useful.
A Sampaloc map poster offers a softer, more natural composition than a city plan. Its curving lines and generous open space make an image closer to a landscape drawing than a street map. It suits people with family in these uplands, or anyone who knows the roads that climb out of the metropolis into cooler, greener country.
Roads loop and switch back across the hills, following the lie of the land rather than a grid. They give the poster a flowing, hand-drawn character.
Large areas without streets, covered by forest and farmland, show as calm empty space. They frame the scattered settlements and give the design room to breathe.
To the west the land drops toward the lake basin and the edge of the Manila metropolitan area. There the road pattern becomes noticeably denser.

Koteā ko Sampaloc
Many Filipino families keep close ties to a home barangay even after moving to the city or overseas. A map of Sampaloc gives that place a quiet presence on the wall, drawn from real map data.
You can write your own title, add a subtitle such as a family name or date, and adjust the coordinates line. Select Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the files or order a printed poster.
