Te mapa
Socastee is a community in Horry County, South Carolina, a short drive inland from Myrtle Beach. The Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway is its defining feature. The long, curving channel runs past the area, and forested wetlands and marshy ground lie along its banks. Streets fill the rest of the map in a suburban pattern of long roads, housing subdivisions and cul-de-sacs.
The Socastee swing bridge, which rotates to let boats pass, has become a local landmark on the waterway. The area grew fast with the Grand Strand's expansion. Once mostly rural, it now has a steady stream of new neighbourhoods and roads serving residents and seasonal visitors on the coast.
A Socastee map poster sets the waterway as a strong line across the frame, with the suburban street pattern layered on one side and wetland space around it. Main highways cross the view toward the beaches. It is a map of lowcountry living, with water, woods and newer homes arranged between the coast and the inland roads.

A historic bridge that pivots to open for boats. On the map it is a small crossing point over the water, well known to locals.
Newer neighbourhoods fill the area with curving lanes, loops and cul-de-sacs. Together they create a rounded texture next to the straighter main roads.

Koteā ko Socastee
Socastee is where many families settle when they move to the Grand Strand. A map of the waterway and the streets around it is a good way to mark a first home near the coast or a retirement move.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates, and add the date you moved in. Then choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the waterway well.
