Te mapa
Tabaco lies on the eastern coast of Albay province in the Bicol Region of Luzon, facing Tabaco Bay, with Mayon Volcano rising to the southwest. From above, the city centre gathers along the waterfront around the port. From there, roads and barangays spread inland across the lower slopes of the volcano, and rivers and ravines coming off the mountain cut through the land toward the sea.
The port of Tabaco is one of the main departure points for ferries to the island province of Catanduanes. The city is also known for its traditional blacksmithing, especially the making of bladed tools and knives. Mayon, with its famously symmetrical cone, dominates the landscape and has repeatedly shaped life in the area through its eruptions.
A Tabaco map poster sets the curve of the bay against the rising ground of the volcano. The coastline forms a strong arc, the port and piers reach out into the water, and the street grid thins out as it climbs the slopes. The composition moves from the dense, busy waterfront to the open flanks of the mountain.

Southwest of the centre, land rises toward Mayon Volcano. Roads and settlements thin out across its lower flanks, leaving broad open areas.
Rivers and gullies run down from the volcano to the bay. They cut fine lines through the barangays and the fields around the city.

Koteā ko Tabaco
For people from Tabaco, or anyone who has taken the ferry to Catanduanes, the map captures the city's particular setting between the bay and the volcano. It is a quiet way to keep that view close.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with a barangay or a date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed matte posters, with an optional wooden frame, are also available.
