Te mapa
Tagudin is at the southern end of Ilocos Sur, on the west coast of Luzon. On a map, the town occupies a narrow coastal strip. The sea forms a long, smooth edge on the west, and the ground climbs towards the Cordillera foothills in the east. The main national highway runs north to south along this plain and links the Ilocos towns together.
The town centre is a small grid near the highway, with a church and plaza at its heart, as in many Spanish-era towns in the region. Around it are rice fields, scattered barangays and river valleys running down from the hills to the sea. The Amburayan River forms the southern boundary with La Union.
A Tagudin map poster has a simple structure: coast, road, town and hills, each running in parallel. This layered, north-to-south arrangement makes the design calm and easy to read. The long coastline gives the frame a steady edge on one side.
The sea forms a long, gently curving boundary along the western edge of the town. It is the dominant line on the map and runs almost the whole height of the frame.
The national road runs north to south through Tagudin, parallel to the shore. It connects the town centre with the rest of the Ilocos coast.
The Amburayan River runs from the hills to the sea along the southern edge. It separates Ilocos Sur from La Union with a winding line.
