Yagry Map Poster & Print
Yagry is an island district of Severodvinsk, where the Northern Dvina delta meets the White Sea. On a map it is a flat strip of land cut off from the mainland city by a narrow channel, and a bridge carries the road across. Housing blocks stand in tight rectangles near the crossing. Further toward the open water, pine woodland and dunes take over.
The island's shipbuilding and repair yards give much of its shoreline a hard geometry: long slipways, docks and basins cut sharply into the land. Few places show heavy industry and open sea so clearly on one sheet. A Yagry map poster keeps these hard edges in black against white water, which suits the plain northern light of the place.
The seaward edge is quieter. A long beach runs along Dvina Bay, backed by forest paths that locals use in the short summer and on skis in winter. In the cold months the sea freezes along the shore, so for part of the year the coastline on paper is the edge of the ice rather than the edge of the water.

Shipyard basins
Docks, slipways and enclosed basins give parts of the shoreline a precise, engineered outline. Their straight quays and right angles stand out against the soft curves of the delta channels.
White Sea beach
The outer shore is a long, unbroken sweep of sand facing Dvina Bay, backed by pine forest. On a poster it becomes one clean curve along the edge of the sheet.
