Te mapa
Yeonil sits on the southern side of the Hyeongsan River as it approaches the sea, within the city of Pohang in North Gyeongsang. From above, the river is the clearest line on the sheet: a broad, slow band that separates this district from the denser core of Pohang to the north, crossed by a handful of bridges.
Beyond the riverbank the pattern changes quickly. Compact residential blocks give way to rectangular fields, road embankments and the first folds of the hills to the south and west. Toward the coast, the large industrial grounds around Yeongil Bay introduce long straight edges and wide plots that look very different from the finer grain of the town itself.
A Yeonil map poster keeps these contrasts in plain black lines: the river, the bay, the grid of new housing and the looser roads that climb into the countryside. It is a portrait of a place shaped by water on one side and higher ground on the other, rendered without colour so the structure stays legible.
The river runs along the northern edge of Yeonil before meeting the sea, forming a wide pale band that anchors the whole composition and sets it apart from central Pohang.
To the east the land meets Yeongil Bay, where large industrial plots and straight shoreline works create broad geometric shapes against the open water.
South and west of the town, the map loosens into field boundaries and winding lanes that follow the base of low hills, a quieter texture beside the denser blocks.

Koteā ko Yeonil
Yeonil is a place many people know through work, family or a first home near the river. A map of it records the everyday geography that matters to them: the bridge they cross, the road toward the bay, the neighbourhood they return to.
You can add your own title, a subtitle and the coordinates line, perhaps a moving date or a family name, and choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand to suit the room where it will hang.
