Te mapa
Gijang is the county on Busan's northeastern edge, where the city meets the East Sea. The map here looks very different from central Busan. There is no dense urban mass. Instead, settlements are scattered along a long, jagged coastline, and small harbours sit in the coves. Inland, hills and farmland take over, and the street network thins out.
The best-known site is Haedong Yonggungsa, a Buddhist temple built on the rocks at the water's edge, which is unusual in Korea, where most temples stand in the mountains. The coast is also known for its seafood, especially anchovies and seaweed from local waters. In recent years, new resort and residential districts have grown along parts of the shore.
A Gijang map poster traces the coastline as its main line. Headlands, coves and breakwaters create a varied edge, while clusters of streets mark the towns and fishing villages. Behind them, open ground and winding roads fill the rest of the frame. It is a quieter, coastal side of Busan, and it makes a light, open poster.
The shoreline is broken by headlands, rocky points and small coves, giving the map a detailed, irregular edge along the sea.
Small fishing harbours with breakwaters sit in sheltered bays along the coast, each with its own compact cluster of streets.
Inland, the terrain rises into green hills, and the road network loosens into winding routes between farms and valleys.

Koteā ko Gijang
For anyone who spent weekends on Busan's east coast, or grew up near the harbours, Gijang means sea air, fresh seafood and the sound of waves on the rocks. The poster brings that coastline indoors.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line. Choose one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, to give the coastline a light or dramatic look.
