River mouth
The Catarman River meets the sea close to the town centre. Its final bends and channels give the composition a natural, flowing element beside the street grid.

Te mapa
Catarman is the capital of Northern Samar in the Eastern Visayas, set on the northern coast of Samar island. From above, its centre sits near the mouth of the Catarman River, with a compact grid of streets around the town plaza and a long coastline stretching in both directions.
Beyond the town proper, the map turns quickly to rice fields, coconut groves and scattered barangays linked by coastal and inland roads. The river winds through this lowland before reaching the sea, splitting into channels near its mouth.
Catarman is home to the University of Eastern Philippines, whose campus forms a large distinct area on the map. A Catarman map poster shows a provincial capital shaped by river, coast and the green country around it.
The Catarman River meets the sea close to the town centre. Its final bends and channels give the composition a natural, flowing element beside the street grid.
The town faces open water along Samar's northern shore. The long coast forms a clean boundary across the print, with beaches and small inlets along it.
The University of Eastern Philippines occupies a large site outside the centre. Its open grounds and internal roads show up as a distinct block on the map.

Koteā ko Catarman
Catarman is a place many leave for Manila or abroad and still call home. A map of it, with river and coastline clearly drawn, is a way to keep that home close, or to remember years spent at the university.
Add your own title and subtitle, such as a barangay name or a graduation year, and keep the coordinates. Noir makes the coast stand out. Sand evokes the warm light of the Visayas.
