Te mapa
Ebilassokro lies in the Comoé District in eastern Côte d'Ivoire, in the region around Abengourou, close to the border with Ghana. This is a forest and plantation zone, where cocoa and other crops grow between patches of remaining woodland, and small towns sit along the roads that connect them.
From above, the town is compact and loosely structured. Houses and compounds gather along the main roads and a few cross streets, and the built-up area gives way quickly to plantations and vegetation. Tracks lead off into the surrounding farmland, and streams run through the lower ground nearby.
An Ebilassokro map poster is a quiet, sparse image: a handful of clear roads, a cluster of streets where they meet, and large open spaces around them. It is a personal map more than a tourist one, made for people who know the town and want to keep its outline close.
The town has grown along its main roads, so the busiest lines on the map are the routes that pass through and connect it to neighbouring places.
Where the roads meet, a small grid of streets and lanes forms the town centre, the densest part of an otherwise open composition.
The land around the town is farmed and partly wooded. On the poster it appears as calm, open space crossed by a few tracks.
