Touboro is a town in Cameroon's North Region, in the Mayo-Rey area close to where the borders of Cameroon, Chad and the Central African Republic meet. On a map it forms a loose settlement of wide streets, compounds and open plots, spread across level savanna land and connected to the outside world by a few main roads.
The surrounding region is farming country where cotton and food crops are grown in wide, irregular fields, with seasonal rivers and wooded savanna in between.
